Join artist and yoga teacher, Leila Currah, for this 3-hour workshop, beginning with a gentle Hatha yoga practice (suitable for all levels) & followed by making mandalas using cut paper.
We start with yoga to open our hearts, quiet the inner critic, and align with universal grace to receive inspiration.
The mandalas are made using beautiful, brightly colored, pre-painted papers, scissors and glue, and then framed, so everyone leaves with a completed work of art!
Working with mandalas may promote your capacity to experience harmony by connecting to a sense of order and beauty, and even open you to dimensions of your subconscious Self by accessing your creativity.
No previous experience required at all. Come as you are.
Artist bio: Leila's approach as a teacher is rooted in mindfulness, bringing a loving awareness to body and breath. She has been making art since she was a child, and on commission for 16 years.
