Hi friends! Welcome, so happy to have you here!

My name is Mollie, and like you all, I wear all sorts of hats that influence my ideas of this world and the art I make. Since receiving a calligraphy kit for Christmas when I was 12 years old, I have been fascinated with fonts and lettering. I have always made art in my own way, and experimenting with new techniques and materials is what makes my heart sing.

I am a Clinical Social Worker by trade and learned early in my practice the role art can play in healing and allowing a person to speak. At the moment I am primarily focused on raising my three young children, but the fire to advocate, celebrate, and speak up for others is wildly alive.

When I started decorating my children’s rooms, more than anything I wanted to surround them with art that spoke to their hearts and imagination. I wanted to cover their rooms with pieces that celebrated diversity, were motivational, and promoted their self esteem. When I struggled to find art that fit that criteria (and my budget), I started getting serious with painting.

I currently reside in San Diego but was born and raised outside of Portland, OR. I went to the University of Washington, Seattle for both my bachelor’s degrees (in Political Science and Spanish), and my Master of Social Work degree.
