Class Description:

Interested in making your own chalk art?  Join us as we turn ordinary wooden planks into chalkboards and learn beginner hand lettering techniques.  We’ll complete our pieces by lettering some inspiring words to create our very own chalkboard art!  All supplies are included.

Artist Bio:

Katherine is a calligrapher, paper artist, and yoga instructor based in San Diego, CA.  She earned her BA from UC Santa Barbara and plans to attend graduate school in the future.  She has lived/studied/worked in 7 cities across 3 different countries.  From the interesting people she’s met to the breathtaking views, she feels her experiences overseas has inspired and fueled her creativity.  Katherine hopes to encourage more people to incorporate art and yoga into their daily lives.  Visit her website at www.handwrittenbykatherine.com.
